Coffeehouse Characters. I now spend my lunch time munching on half a cream cheese bagel, a large cup of coffee and quick doodling in my sketchbook of the many people passing outside and sharing my space with me.
I’m hoping it’s good practice for my diversifying-characters skills. :”)
In celebration of our 50,000-strong community and our First Month Milestone, here’s an illustration I made for the JapanLover.Me team, Kaila (aka. The Rainbowholic), Chichi (aka. Little Miss Paintbrush) and myself!
It didn’t take too long before I made mermaid versions of ourselves, did it? I obviously found it hard to resist!
Been working on something for the past couple of weeks. Well, really, I procrastinated a week and then finished the rest in two days (ah, the power of the mind).

I think that if mermaids populated the world the way humans did, there would be so many different and beautiful “races” of mermaids in the sea!
Trivia: the purple mermaids of this series were the ones I drew first. I was still figuring out how to draw them. ;3
