Translating Dance Songs
In which Hank has translated all those dance songs we love so much.
My Lizzie Bennet Mermaid Poster in action in Hank’s new video which includes lyric translations to your favorite dance crazes! :”)
You can purchase your own Bennet Mermaid Posters on DFTBA Records!

Uh, I fail at titles.
Just experimenting with more style/brushes in Photoshop. Also working on speeding up digital drawings because I work as fast a speeding sloth.

Another attempt at a re-interpretation from New York Fashion Week.
This is from Donna Karan’s F/W 2013 collection—and it seemed fitting for someone like Maleficent. ;)

1. Self-Portrait
As an illustrator, I know that I have a lot to improve on in order to get better. Because of this, I told myself to take on an improvement challenge that I found through Arielle.
For 30 days, I’ll be doing this challenge. Let’s see how far I get. Also, I doubt I’ll be doing this consecutively but hey, I’ll do it all.

If you follow my reblog Tumblr, it’ll be pretty obvious by now that I am a huge fan of Downton Abbey. And Lady Mary is perhaps my favorite female protagonist on Downton Abbey next to Sybil.
She’s definitely got her snobby/superiority-complexed side, but I have to admit, I just can’t stop staring at her.
She’s also got some of the best dresses on the show and I would *SPOILER* love to use her wedding dress as inspiration for my own ceremony someday.

I’ve never seen Adventure Time but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try drawing myself in its quirky, popular style. : )

Happy New Year everyone!
Celebrated New Year quietly this year, although still happy and memorable. :) I hope you all had a safe welcome to 2013.
Speaking of 2013, this is my first artwork for 2013! I got myself a new sketchbook for this year and thought it would be the best idea to decorate it for 2013!
So, do you see it? 2-0-1-3? ;)

After nights of staying up until 3am to finish this—here it is! :) ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆
This is my piece for an art trade with the ever cute and highly reblogged Little Miss Paint Brush! I had actually been hesitant to ask for an art trade because she always seems busy with work and personal projects, but yey!
We went with the idea of turning each other into characters from fairytales. And while Alice in Wonderland is not a fairytale, I knew that Chichi is fond of this story! : )
Introducing Chichi, the Secret Citizen of Wonderland! Unbeknownst to most of us (and Alice!) the roses that the cards were trying to paint red were originally red to begin with! What they didn’t know was that a secret someone was turning up at night, painting the roses white—so they had to repaint it to red so that the Queen of Hearts wouldn’t be off with their heads!
Why Chichi does it? We’ll never know. After all, in Wonderland, “We’re all mad here.”

“I Knew You Were Trouble” - Taylor Swift
You know I’m obsessed with a song when I start making sketches about it. When I find a new song I love (which is normally a Taylor Swift or Ed Sheeran song nowadays), I have it on replay for weeks—just that one song. It’s crazy. And trouble. ;P
And, this is just me, but I feel like this is just the start for this series. :))
We Nerdfighters were given another awesome opportunity to participate in this year’s Project for Awesome!
So, I decided to contribute in the only confident way I knew how: my art. There was no specific concept that was given to us, only that we could make anything with our hands, so I decided to make some of my favorite things in the world: mermaid drawings.
Here are five close-up shots of some of them! Each single piece has it’s own central theme (some more evident than others, maybe).

I hope whoever adopts them will give them a nice, new home (and lots of swimming space)! :) Hope you like ‘em!
You can find out the process of how I made these by clicking HERE! :)
The Project For Awesome 2012 will be on December 17th! You can find out how to take part on their website: www.projectforawesome.com. DFTBA!
Trying out a simple coloring style for the first of a series of new drawings I’ve made. :)
And, of course, in the grand scheme of this series, it only makes sense for Ariel to be the first. :)
Who’s your favorite Disney character?
I spotted my work on another article on The Filipino Spirit is Waterproof! It wasn’t highlighted like it was in Interaksyon, but seeing myself on the website is still thrilling!
I want to create more, sun-related ones this time! :)

It isn’t uncommon to hear that Filipinos find the strength to smile in the face of difficulty. Whatever hardships we’ve faced, we’ve faced it together and with a smile on our faces, wit on our tongues and humor in our breath.
The same is the case now with this Un-named Storm. But at the same time, something else is different. Along with the rise in flood-levels in the Metro is the Bayanihan among my countrymen—the unity and together-ness that I don’t believe I’ve seen at this intensity, ever. Alongside this bayanihan is the rise in the use of creativity to spread hope, inspiration and strength.
Ayala Museum started the #FilipinoSpiritisWaterproof campaign and created a Tumblr gallery, displaying and sharing all the submissions.

These are just some of the contributions. The 2nd from the left, bottom row is mine. :)
I just admire the creativity and inspiration that these artists have at this time. If there was any way that I could have helped, it would be this (but of course I’m doing my part in gathering old clothes).
Here are my submissions:

And less than an hour of submitting these, they’re on the site! :)

Both my posters featured! :”)
Not only that, it found it’s way into this article on Interaksyon’s website! :O

Woohoo! That is in a way getting published right? Right (it’s on my bucket list, you see)??
But I don’t want to just go on about me. Here are my favorites! :)
