"Gender-bend your favorite character."
BEHOLD I HAVE DRAWN A BACKGROUND!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!!!
Ending-slash-starting the year right by staring my illustration fears in the eye (no sketch lines + lighting) with a couple that I absolutely adore!
Ron and Hermione are definitely my favorite literary characters. I’ve grown up with them both and I admire a great deal of the two of them.
But just imagine how things would have been like if Hermione was a boy and Ron was a girl! The amount of interesting stories that could spawn from that!
I got the prompt for this challenge here: TRY IT
The Fountain of Fair Fortune from The Tales of Beetle the Bard.

Sometimes I wonder what it would have been like if Petunia just embraced Lily’s magic, would anything have changed with Harry’s story?
Happy Birthday Rupert! :) I’ll be 24 soon too. :|
Filled up that page and just made things random. : )
Also, what House was Umbridge in?
More Celestina “Concept Art.” : )
Drawing of the Day: September 6, 2011
Some Hogwarts Girls. Only Lavander, Parvati, Luna, Pansy and Myrtle are from the canon. Generally doodles, but oh well. :D
An original character of mine that I haven’t drawn in years. She’s my alter ego in Potterverse and I still have an on-going fanfiction piece with her in it. When that will ever make its debut on the internet, we might never know. Hihi.
July 9, 2011. A Lily and Snape doodle. Obviously I fail at Snape. :))
This is the very surprising piece that I started showing signs of abilities to tackle realism—with a marker, no less.
As I’ve mentioned before, I was in awe of myself. It’s like I had a gerbil in my hands and I had no idea how it got there.
The last two Quotes from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I love McGonagall’s line here. It’s a shame they changed that whole bit in the film and did that whole dungeon-up-the-Slytherins bit. I object.
Have I also mentioned that this is the first style I’ve ever done in which I’ve no skeleton lines? I am extremely proud, but more “amazed” than anything else. Like, “Why haven’t you ever been able to do this before, Mishie?”
It was like magic.
My favorite Ron quote from Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince film. In this entire Quote series, they’re the only pair of boys I’ve drawn.
A start of a “Quote” Series I started in my old June-July sketchbook. I was re-reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows before the last film came out and out came, as well, these pinup-y quote-y things.
For some reason, I thought to sketch with some markers I got at Muji. I also thought it would be interesting to try realism.
This raggedy page you see here, in fact, marks the change in my style (yet again).
More sketches from the office. Some of the last few pencils sketches I’ve done recently. Circa May 2011.
